The Werkcentrum Zaanstreek Waterland is there for everyone who is looking for work, wants to develop or is looking for staff. We help job seekers, employers and young people in the region with personal advice, training and practical support. We do this together with municipalities, UWV and other partners.
Whether you are looking for a new job, want to learn alongside your job or have questions about schemes – you are welcome.
The Work Center is there for everyone in the Zaanstreek-Waterland region who wants or needs something to do with work:
- Whether you’re looking for work,
- You want to retrain or advance,
- Or as an employer looking for staff or advice.
Among other things, we support:
- young people taking their first step into the labor market,
- people who have been out of work for a while or want to switch jobs,
- Self-employed people looking for something else (temporarily),
- employers who want to do social business or need staff.
At the Work Center, we believe that work should be accessible to everyone. And we like to help with that – in a way that suits you.
We help you understand your opportunities and possibilities. Together we look at what suits you and what steps you can take. For example:
- Find jobs that match your profile,
- Help in creating a good resume or cover letter,
- advice on (re)training or retraining,
- Personalized job search assistance.
You can also use our vacancy newspaper or make an appointment with one of our consultants.
Our help is free. Whether you have been out of work for a long time, are considering a career switch or just need some support – we are here for you at no cost.
You can make an appointment through the contact form or by phone.
Yes, definitely. We help you write a resume, a cover letter or prepare for an interview. Our consultants think with you, so you can go into an interview stronger and more confident.
This is quite normal. Together we identify your interests, skills and abilities. We can conduct a career interview, do a self-test or advise you on suitable training. This way you discover step by step what suits you.
You want to become an approved learning company because you want to supervise a practical school, secondary special education vmbo student, mbo student, omscholer or tutor. To become a learning company, you must first apply for accreditation.
